Sure, I’ve finished making a sort of follow-up video on this exact thing, like cancel culture, death of the author, mob mentalities and everything. And in that video, I briefly touch on Dragon Maid again, and I thought I made my stance pretty clear, but I’ve now added a disclaimer earlier in the video so people actually see it, so thanks for bringing that up.

Guys, please, I don’t want to fight with anyone about precure ( ; v ; ) like precure is fine.
I don’t have anything against precure, or precure fans, it’s just not my thing, like I’ve said before I’m very fussy about my taste. I like magical girls generally but I’m not gonna like every show about them
I saw the og precure, Futari wa Precure back when I was a teen and I enjoyed it enough at the time to watch it all the way through.
I’m just not really blindly nostalgic for it the way I am for something like Tokyo mew mew, which I love, but will freely admit is kind of a disaster.
The modern design aesthetics are just…..too….they’re too much. The color designs are hyper saturated and visually it’s a lot.
I know there are good points about it and that it has darker themes, and I’ve heard that there’s an unambiguously lesbian couple so that’s cool?
I’m not saying Precure can’t be enjoyed by adults, it’s just not my cup of tea.

Making a comprehensive list of all the anime I like………I would die, BUT I think I am going to make a video of of anime I like by decade because, some of my most asked questions on tumblr are if I’ve seen X anime, so I think a source of anime recommendations that aren’t nasty would be good, and I am definitely going to do that!!
….I could also post a list here of anime I liked from 2010-2019, and then also make the video with more context about what I actually like about it? if people don’t want to wait like…..3 months??

any critical analysis of anything (especially on gender politics tho) people always act like, the problem is with me personally and that I should just stay in my lane and only talk about the girl things that I enjoy

It’s not my fault the two essays out of eleven are the critical ones that are being spread around, and the youtube algorithm seems to only promote videos about polarizing issues
I did not make them with the intent to manufacture discourse so they would blow up, I made them because they are issues that affect me and that I am passionate about
